Matt Miller has recently been adding an expert’s credibility to some of our hotter takes
I don’t like to brag, but Matt Miller has begun to agree with some of the more unpopular opinions we have put forward, especially regarding the safeties in this upcoming NFL Draft.
The best safety in the draft, in our opinion, is Washington’s Taylor Rapp, and it’s not even close. Other draft analysts have said Alabama’s Deionte Thompson is the best for a long time now, but Miller has now switched into our line of thinking.
“It’s impossible to not fall in love with Taylor Rapp’s tape. He’s a great tackler in the open field with instincts and toughness and shows the speed and range to play in multiple alignments at either safety position. Rapp’s football IQ and high character makes him the top-ranked safety on the new Big Board.“Matt Miller, Bleacher Report
Underdog has pointed out before that we respect and follow Miller’s opinions the most of any draft analysts, but loosely. We at Underdog make our own opinions regardless of other analysts, but it’s nice to see a heralded name like Matt Miller to see what we see.
Taylor Rapp is definitely one of my top 5 favorite players in the draft. Here’s some of his highlights:
Rapp is Underdog’s 10th best player in the draft with a grade of 92/100.
